Dear Family Members, Friends, Colleagues and Associates,

I am pleased to announce that, effective today, February 11, 2008, I have taken the steps necessary to close my campaign for President of the United States. Why am I happy to close my presidential campaign? Two reasons: 1) The week before last, my U.S. Representative announced that he would not seek re-election; and 2) After Super Tuesday, the viability of conducting an independent petition drive for president became impossible; especially since my choice for running mate, Dr. Ron Paul, effectively announced last week that he was not interested in working outside of the Republican Party.

As the old saying goes though, "When God closes one door, He opens another." Running for U.S. Representative has always been my "Plan B" regardless of whether the incumbent sought re-election. I am simply overjoyed that I am now running for an open seat in Congress and that the odds of having an opportunity to serve the residents of Florida's District 15, and being a colleague of Dr. Paul's in the United States House of Representatives, have improved tremendously. I will be even more excited if we can "Clean House" as I called for in my platform and in a book that I co-authored about a year ago - "Folks Upset by the Capital Karma: A Shock and Awe Campaign for Political Reform."

I am hopeful you who are residents of Florida's District 15 will follow my campaign at www.FranklyFrank08.org and visit my Facebook and MySpace campaign sites to help me spread the word in those media. I am also hopeful that you will continue to share your candid perspectives with me and, if at all possible, to assist me with contributions of any denomination. (I realize that many of you might be tapped beyond your fiscal comfort zone as you supported Dr. Paul and other candidates during the past several months!)

Take care for now and let's keep fighting the good fight for freedom, peace and prosperity. Together, we can be the change we want to see in ourselves, in our country and in our world.
